We bought Le Petit Ruisseau (The Little Brook) in March 2016 having fallen in love with it at first view. Moving to rural France has been our dream for years having spent many years visiting on holiday and we are now living our French rural dream.

Our property is situated 1.6 km by road from the historic medieval town of Domfront, a five minute drive or 20 min walk. In Domfront there are two supermarkets and numerous small shops including bakers. There are several restaurants and bars where you can sit outside and watch the world go by in the narrow cobbled streets. There is a ruined castle and gardens which are lovely for a stroll. The castle has a great views over the surrounding countryside.

The accommodation is ideal for couples, families and small groups of friends. During spring or autumn, the rooms can be rented individually or as a whole on a B&B basis or self catering. We can be very flexible so please contact us to discuss your requirements. WiFi is available throughout the house.

The extensive south facing private garden provides several seating areas to enjoy the peace and quiet as well as a lovely brook that bisects the west garden. There is small covered terrace at the side of the Gite equipped with table and chairs. There is a charcoal BBQ available for use.

For children (and adults) there are garden games and toys as well as swings. There is plenty of space for ball games. There are mountain bikes available for use.
 

In July and August a plunge pool is available for your use.
